Peyton Manning Tried the Happy Gilmore Swing — He Almost Pulled It Off
Peyton Manning is a quarterback in the NFL, not a golfer.
So when he tried to recreate Happy Gilmore's famous golf swing, it didn't go so well. Manning was on the set of The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon when he gave the swing a try. He took a few practice swings before teeing up the ball.
On his first attempt, Manning hit the ball into the net behind him. He then tried again, but this time he hit the ball into the audience. The crowd laughed as Manning sheepishly grinned.
Even though Manning didn't make contact with the ball, he still had fun trying the swing.
And who knows, maybe he'll be able to pull it off next time. After all, he is a two-time Super Bowl champion. If anyone can do it, it's Peyton Manning.
Here are some tips for trying the Happy Gilmore swing:
- Make sure you have a strong grip on the club.
- Take a few practice swings to get the feel of the swing.
- Swing hard and follow through with your shot.
With a little practice, you may be able to hit the ball like Happy Gilmore. Just don't expect to do it on your first try.
