Marilyn Mosby Withdraws $90,000 in Retirement Funds Amidst COVID-19 Pandemic
Despite Lack of Financial Hardships, Mosby Receives Full Salary as Baltimore City States Attorney
Jurors Find Mosby Did Not Experience Financial Adversity
Jurors in the trial of former Baltimore City States Attorney Marilyn Mosby have found that she did not experience financial hardship during the COVID-19 pandemic. Despite claiming financial difficulties, Mosby continued to collect her full gross salary of $247,955.58 as Baltimore City States Attorney.
Prosecutors countered Mosby's financial woes, presenting evidence that her annual salary in 2020 as Baltimore City States Attorney was over $247,000. Payroll documents also showed that Mosby continued to receive her full salary in her role.
As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, Mosby withdrew $90,000 in retirement funds. However, the evidence presented at trial proved that Mosby did not experience any such financial hardships during this period.
